Maintenance
+ Just as glass or ceramics concrete will break or chip if not handled with care.
+ We recommend to only place dry food in our concrete tableware. Some oils stain. These might disappear after some weeks but if you plan to use our tableware as traditional dishes you have to be aware that these will "age".
+ Clean the tableware right after eating and don't let oils and liquids sit on the surface for too long.
+ Acids like vinegar or lemon juice can sligthly etch the surface. If this happens you can use fine sanding paper (500+ grit) to smooth these areas.
+ Strong colors (like curcuma) might cause stains.
+ Wash off food left overs straight away.
+ We recommend to clean our tableware by hand.
+ For continued protection we recommend to apply a fresh layer of beeswax (or similar) every now and then.
